Ukraine managed a democratic change of power at the end of March 2019, but where will the country progress now? What chances do peace efforts have in Ukraine, a country in which fighting has been going on for the past five years? The spectrum of possibilities is broad: it ranges from stagnation to departure. Juri Durkot, freelance journalist, publicist and translator from L'viv, Lemberg and Gernot Erler, former Minister of State and long-time Coordinator for Intersocietal Cooperation with Russia, Central Asia and the Eastern Partnership Countries, will discuss the current situation. Durkot will first present the viewpoint of Ukraine and Erler the German viewpoint, before a discussion will take place between the two speakers and the participants of the event.
