New honorary professors at the University of Freiburg

Jens-Arne Dickmann teaches Classical Archaeology, Markus Rübenstahl teaches Legal Studies

Acting on a proposal from the Faculty of Humanities, the University of Freiburg is appointing the classical archaeologist Dr. Jens-Arne Dickmann to Honorary Professor. He took his PhD at the University of Munich in 1992, and has undertaken research with a focus on among other things the ancient history of Pompeii since then. As the curator of the university’s archaeology collection since 2011 he also contributes academically to the unification of the museum, teaching, research and outreach work.

The University of Freiburg, acting on a proposal from the Faculty of Law, is appointing the attorney-at-law Dr. Markus Rübenstahl to Honorary Professor. Having graduated with a doctorate in law at the University of Freiburg in 2012, since 2013 he has been a lecturer at the University of Freiburg’s Faculty of Law focusing on the areas of criminal tax law and economic governance by criminal law.
