Artificial intelligence (AI) and the methods of machine learning have made significant progress in the past few years. At the invitation of the Freiburg Institute for Advanced Studies (FRIAS), Prof. Dr. Andreas Meyer-Lindenberg, Director at the Zentralinstitut für Seelische Gesundheit (Central Institute for Mental Health) in Mannheim, will talk about the application of AI in psychiatry on January 28, 2019. In his lecture he will present the methodological developments of AI in the fields of medicine and neuroscience, point out fields of application in psychiatry and point out risks of the technology. Afterwards there will be the opportunity to discuss with the expert.
