Anxiety disorders in childhood and adolescence are widespread and represent a considerable burden of suffering for those affected. The event provides information about anxiety among children and adolescents and about treatment options for anxiety disorders. The speakers Eva-Maria Fassot and Dr. Julia Asbrand from the Department of Psychology will address various questions about the topic, such as which anxieties are “normal,” when they need treatment and which treatment options are available. The psychologists will also present the current research project “KibA - Children coping with fear.”
