Baden-Württemberg’s Minister President Winfried Kretschmann will give a lecture on “What kind of science does our society need?” The event and subsequent discussion will take place within the framework of the “Freiburg Horizonte” (“Freiburg Horizons”) series from the Freiburg Institute for Advanced Studies (FRIAS). From 2002 to 2011, Kretschmann was parliamentary leader of Bündnis 90/Die Grünen in the Baden-Württemberg state parliament. He has been Minister President of the state of Baden-Württemberg since 2011. From 2012 to 2013 he was President of the Bundesrat and from 2013 to 2014 Chairman of the Minister-President Conference.

  • Admission only with free admission ticket. A previous ticket reservation is not possible. Admission tickets are available on November 27, 2017 starting at 6pm at both entrances to the Audimax. Maximum of 2 tickets per person.

  • For security reasons, all jackets, coats and bags must be handed in at the cloakroom before entering the Audimax.

  • Please note that photographs and videos will be taken during the event for public relations purposes.
