Summer University for International Students

The University of Freiburg and the city of Freiburg are expecting 500 students from more than 60 countries to attend the Summer University in 2017. At a reception ceremony held by the city, the university's Vice President for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Juliane Besters-Dilger, and Freiburg Mayor Otto Neideck will welcome the students in the Kaisersaal of the "Historisches Kaufhaus." In the weeks that follow, the students will attend German language courses and seminars on the region, politics, philosophy, literature and culture.
