Supportively guiding the way
Freiburg, Sep 25, 2017
Consultative student advising: At the beginning of this year’s winter semester, parents will have a chance to learn more about their children’s choice of study and the current learning environment. The objective of the parent evening is to make the transition from high school to college easier for everyone involved. Two presentations will address these issues: “Many paths – one goal? Getting oriented and making decisions – how parents can support their children’s choice of study” and “Bachelor’s, master’s, credit points and modules – What does college look like today?” In addition, the Central Academic Advising Office at the University of Freiburg offers weekly office hours during which time parents can clarify any questions or personal issues they may have in a confidential personal consultation session.
