Works by Mozart and Mendelssohn-Bartholdy

The Academic Orchestra at the University of Freiburg will open the winter semester 2018/2019 in the Audimax with a program including the “Hebrides” and “Symphony No. 3 in A minor” by Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy as well as the “Sinfonia Concertante” by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. The guest conductor Valentin Egel will present works from classical music and early romanticism with a small ensemble. At the center of Mozart’s “Sinfonia” is the violin, played by Johannes Blumenröther, and the viola, played by Ayano Kamei.
