The Rector’s video address about the New Year 2022

The University of Freiburg has achieved a great deal together in 2021: academically, in terms of students, institutionally as a whole - and finally, in coping with the Corona pandemic. For this, Rector Prof. Dr. Kerstin Krieglstein thanks the entire University community in her New Year’s video address. Among other things, important steps for the further development of the University of Freiburg were taken this year; at the beginning of 2022, ten university-wide working groups with the participation of the faculties, students, central institutions and the Central University Administration will continue on this path. The Rector wishes all members and friends of the University of Freiburg a peaceful and reflective holiday season and all the best for the New Year.
