16 scholars at the University and the University Medical Center Freiburg were successful

Preliminary results of the Review Board election

The German Research Foundation (DFG) has published the preliminary results of the Review Board elections. The University and the University Medical Center Freiburg will be represented in eleven Review Boards.

According to the DFG, there were 632 slots to be filled in a total of 49 Review Boards with more than 53,000 researchers voting. Ten scholars from the University of Freiburg and six from the University Medical Center Freiburg have been elected for the period 2020 to 2023:

Prof. Dr. Marlene Bartos, Institute of Physiology; Prof. Dr. Katharina Domschke, Department of Psychiatry and Psychotherapy – Review Board Neurosciences

Prof. Dr. Carsten Dormann, Institute of Earth and Environmental Sciences – Review Board Plant Sciences

Prof. Dr. Andreas Gelz, Department of Romance Studies – Review Board Literary Studies

Prof. Dr. Andrea Kiesel, Department of Psychology – Review Board Psychology

Prof. Dr. Ingo Krossing, Institute of Inorganic Chemistry and Analytic Chemistry – Review Board Molecular Chemistry
