Media Training for Researchers
WWhat is the best way to communicate my research findings? The Press Work and Public Relations Department and the International Graduate Academy (IGA) organize media training workshops for groups of researchers at the Media Center of the Freiburg University Library.
For upcoming workshops and more information, please contact Rudolf-Werner Dreier.
uniCROSS gives students the opportunity to learn media skills and create cross-media journalism at the Media Center of the Freiburg University Library. The student journalists work with cameras, microphones, laptops, and mobile phones under the guidance of media professionals and acquire media and journalism skills they can use for job applications, in later professional contexts, and for the publication of their own research findings.
uniCROSS is made up of three student editorial teams: uniTV, uniONLINE, and uniFM 88.4.
The uniTV team has use of a professional TV studio, the student radio station uniFM broadcasts programming for students 24 hours a day on a Freiburg frequency, and uniONLINE makes use of the entire range of possibilities for creating online content. Combining all of these aspects in creative ways to form a comprehensive multimedia experience – that’s what crossmedia journalism is all about.
Seminars for Students (BOK)
The program of professional skills (BOK) courses includes offerings in management, communication, media, information technology, and foreign languages. The BOK courses have a practical orientation.
